Basalt Pavers Production Process:

  1. Raw Material Selection: Basalt pavers production begins with the selection of high-quality basalt blocks. These blocks are mined at the site of a special quarry and the best quality stones are selected.
  2. Cutting and Shaping: Selected basalt blocks are cut with ST machines and their edge surfaces are smoothed out of shape. During the production process, an error of +-2 mm is accepted depending on the thickness of the stone. This allows the pavers to be shaped precisely.
  3. Sizing: The stones, whose edge surfaces are smoothed, are then cut to the desired dimensions with a beheading machine. This stage ensures that the stones can be easily used in construction projects.
  4. Surface Treatment: Basalt paving stones go through different surface treatments to gain aesthetics and durability. Processes such as Honed, Brushed and Hammered are applied to the surface of the stones using a polishing machine. These processes ensure that the stone has a smooth and non-slip surface.
  5. Final Control: At the end of the production process, paving stones undergo a rigorous quality control. Each stone is checked to see if it complies with the required quality standards.
